A workshop takes 3 hours to conduct. At start of each workshop we cover the basics of your unit, accessories required or available then a short break. After break we start with theme of posted workshop and take you from start to finish. After we have covered the workshop theme we take another small break and then conduct hands on training of what was covered in the workshop. We will conduct training in the workshops regardless to how many are signed up, 1-10 people

There are 100's of Navigation activities we use our Handheld gps units for. Hunting, Hiking, Geocaching, atving, Kayaking the list goes on. Learning how to use your unit properly enables you to navigate your activity better, record your data properly and understand the basic settings your unit provides to conduct your desired activity. This will be our first workshop on taking paper maps and transferring them to your gps unit. With Bata 2.2 you have any and all maps you can navigate on using the new Garmin units. Hunting, atv, travel, any and all maps plus the ability to add information on maps before sending them to your qualified gps unit. Exciting? You bet, be sure to book this workshop.

Gps-explore-nb.ca provides weekly Garmin gps unit workshops. Our weekly schedule is posted on our main web page at: http://www.gps-explore-nb.ca/  workshops are three hours and we charge $25.00 per person, some events we charge more but post in advance. VIP Members attend free. Many gps units you can design your own maps. This workshop teaches you different ways to develop maps for your gps unit. we also review maps available and their features. A good map is hard to find, everyone has a bit of what you need but not everything, the more maps you have the more details you can view and navigate.

  06. SPORTS, BUSINESS, HOBBIES

Every sport requires their own unique navigational needs, we cover them all. Business today is demanding more out of us in our navigational jobs. Hobbyist who need to save locations and information, we teach you how using your gps. Any and all we have workshops on what you need for your event.

  07. TRACK MANAGEMENT

Anyone can record a track if they have a gps. Few record their tracks properly and even fewer know how to manage them affectively. We start from the beginning and take you step by step to the end for a complete picture of how to.

  08. WAYPOINT MANAGEMENT

What a mess is what most will tell you after owning a gps for a year or two. We teach you the easy way to manage your waypoints and have them organized so you have what you need on every adventure you take.

  09. BIRDSEYE SATELLITE IMAGERY
